Your chest,
actually moving.

An instrument, not a promise. Log your wear time and training, scan your chest, and watch one number - your Correction Index - actually move. On a plan that recalculates every week.

What's inside

Eight screens.
One correction, handled.

Device dosing, training, food, scanning, and the reasoning behind all of it - kept in one place so nothing lives in a notes app anymore.

01

Today

Your day at a glance: Correction Index, what to do next, and the minutes it takes.

02

Train

The session for today, plus vacuum-bell and brace timers running against a daily wear target.

03

Eat

Calorie and macro targets that move with your weekly weigh-in, and a food log to hit them.

04

Scan

Capture a 3D scan of your chest, read the depth heatmap, and compare it against earlier ones.

05

Progress

Correction Index, chest depth, wear hours and training volume, laid out over months.

06

Learn

Cited explainers and a searchable technique library - the why behind every step.

07

Check-in

A weekly review that reads what you logged and adjusts your dose accordingly.

08

Coach

Working with me 1-on-1? This is where I read your scans, adherence and index, and leave notes.

Today

One number,
read every morning.

The Correction Index folds your chest depth, rib angle, wear hours and training into a single 0-100 read. Underneath it sits the only other thing you need in the morning: the next thing to do, and how long it takes.

  • Chest depth and rib flare scored separately
  • Your latest 3D scan, on the same screen
  • Today's plan as a tick-list, not a lecture

Train

The session,
and why each rep is in it.

Every exercise carries a plain-language reason and a demo video, so you are not copying a shape you do not understand. Device timers sit on the same screen: start the vacuum bell, log the minutes, watch the daily target fill.

  • A "why" line on every exercise
  • Vacuum-bell and brace timers with daily targets
  • Swaps for the day a joint is bothering you

Scan

Your chest,
in three dimensions.

Capture a standardized scan every couple of weeks. The depth heatmap is driven by your own measurements, and every scan stays side by side with your baseline so the change is visible rather than remembered.

  • Baseline and current, side by side
  • Depth heatmap in centimetres
  • Index change logged against every scan

Progress

The trend,
not the bad Tuesday.

Chests do not move week to week, which is exactly why people quit. Progress plots the long view: index, chest depth against your target, wear hours, training volume, and how it has actually been feeling.

  • Correction Index across months
  • Chest depth plotted against your target
  • Adherence bars that show what slipped

Eat

Food, framed
around the dip.

Muscle in the chest, shoulders and upper back is the biggest visual lever you have. Targets are set for a small consistent surplus, adapt from your weekly weigh-in, and cite the study they came from.

  • Calorie and macro rings for the day
  • Targets that move with your weigh-in
  • Every recommendation carries its citation

Learn

The reasoning,
kept in the app.

The protocol is explained where you are running it, not in a course you watched once. Search the technique library, open the condition hub, and follow any claim back to the paper it came from.

  • Searchable technique library with videos
  • Common mistakes called out per technique
  • 22 studies cited, linked to PubMed

How it works

A loop that runs
every week.

It doesn't guess. It reads what you actually did, then changes the plan to match. Log, scan, recalculate - on repeat.

Step 1

Log

Log your wear time, training, and how you felt. About a minute a day.

Step 2

Scan

Capture a 3D scan when you are ready. It reads chest depth and rib angle.

Step 3

Recalculate

Every week it re-reads your logs and scan, then adjusts the dose to match.

then it starts again on Monday, with your new numbers

Your first sitting

Ten minutes in,
you have a plan.

Nothing is locked behind a waiting period. You finish onboarding and the whole thing is built: diagnosis, program, dose, and a baseline to measure against.

The Onboarding screen of the mrpectus app
01

Answer 13 questions

Your case, your measurements, your training history and what bothers you. About three minutes.

Your diagnosis, correction potential, an honest timeframe, and the program built for it.

03

Breathing work, your device timer, and the day's exercises with a reason attached to each.

What it is.
And what it isn't.

Most correction apps sell you a result. This one sells you a better way to work at it. The difference matters, so here it is in plain terms.

It is
A measurement and coaching instrument for your correction work
A plan that adapts to what you actually log, every week
Built on protocols with 22 cited studies you can open in-app
For pectus excavatum, carinatum, and rib flare - including combinations
It isn't
A promise or a guarantee of any particular result
A replacement for your doctor, or a diagnosis
Magic - nothing here moves without the daily reps
A one-size template you outgrow in a week
Why not just wing it

The alternative is
a guess.

You can track this in a spreadsheet or a habit app. Neither one knows what your chest is doing, or what to change when it stalls.

The app
A spreadsheet
A habit app
Guesswork
Tells you today's exact dose
Recalculates the plan weekly
Measures the actual chest in 3D
Cites the study behind each step

Nothing to sync.

It opens in the browser on any modern phone, tablet or computer - iPhone, Android, Mac, Windows. There is no app store, no download, and no update to chase.

Mihail Veleski, founder of mrpectus

"I built the tool I wish I'd had - the one that told me the number, not a pep talk."

Mihail Veleski · Founder, mrpectus

Who built it

Made by someone who
did the reps first.

I have pectus excavatum. I spent years correcting it without surgery - vacuum bell, breathing mechanics, structured training - and I logged all of it because I needed to know whether any of it was working.

The app is that logbook, cleaned up and made to think for itself. Every protocol in it is the one I teach, carrying the same studies I read to build it - not advice invented for a subscription.

It won't do the work for you. It'll just make sure the work you do is the right work, and show you the number moving.

  • I came across your blog about a year ago and I just want to say how much you've changed my life for the better. I thought it was going to be another average article, but the tips you gave were things I hadn't heard of before. Now I've improved so much and im more confident then ever.

    Tom W. PE 24

Pectus Excavatum Course Manchester, UK 🇬🇧

  • the breathing protocol alone changed how i feel day to day. didnt realise how shallow i was breathing until i fixed it. the rib flare correction kind of followed on its own

    Sam B. Rib Flare 21

Rib Flare Course Oregon, USA 🇺🇸

Was skeptical, id tried everything before. the custom vacuum bell was different to anything id used. three months of consistent use and i can already see the sternum coming up

    Chris L. PE 31

  • 4 mo

The carinatum brace is really well made. fits perfect to my chest and i can wear it under a t-shirt at work. results started showing around 4 months

My son is 15 and was getting self-conscious at the pool. The carinatum brace and the fortnightly check-ins are what kept him consistent. Six months and the ridge has visibly dropped.

Seven months with the bell now. dip is maybe half what it was and i've stopped turning sideways away from people at the gym lol. didnt expect that part

    Tobias PE 24

  • 5 mo

started at 19 with a chest i couldnt look at in the mirror. went with the excavatum course cus everyone kept telling me nothing but surgery works and i didnt buy it. 5 months of doing the work most days and my chest sits noticeably flatter now - the surgeon who told me wait and see at 17 wouldnt recognise it. only regret is i didnt start the day i turned 17

    Wes PE 19

Pectus Excavatum Course Colorado, USA 🇺🇸

  • 9 mo

gaining weight was the bit nobody would explain to me. 3 months on the nutrition plan, 5kg up, and the same chest reads completely different at that weight

    Felix PE 28

  • 6 mo

It works. the suction takes getting used to and i gave myself a bit of skin bruising the first fortnight, until i dropped the pressure back to what the guide actually says. my fault not theirs

    Marc-Antoine PE 33

    Vacuum Bell Quebec, Canada 🇨🇦

  • 5 mo

honest review. 5 months of consistent bell use and my depth has barely moved. im 35 and my chest wall is stiff, which the guide does warn about upfront. the posture and breathing side genuinely helped and i dont regret the money, but i wouldnt tell someone my age to expect what the teenagers are getting

    Nikolai PE 35

Vacuum Bell Guide Sofia, Bulgaria 🇧🇬

  • 8 mo

dip and flare at the same time. THE FLARE WENT FIRST, which nobody warned me would happen, and that alone changed my whole silhouette

Bruno Salgado PE + Rib Flare 30

1-on-1 Coaching São Paulo, Brazil 🇧🇷

  • brace did its job on the flare. what i actually wanted was how to run it alongside the vacuum bell work in the same week. asked and got a proper answer same day, but that should be in the material, not something you have to know to ask for

Otto PE + Rib Flare 25

Rib Flare Brace Tampere, Finland 🇫🇮

  • Everyone i asked just told me to do more core. turns out i was breathing into my neck this whole time. learning to actually use my diaphragm was the entire fix

    Georgia Rib Flare 24

Rib Flare Course Perth, Australia 🇦🇺

  • 4 mo

started out flat on my back every night checking whether my ribs still stuck up, they always did. got the rib flare program and actually did the breathing side properly this time instead of just the exercises. four months later i lie down and theyre flat - i still check out of habit and still cant quite believe it

    Hanna Rib Flare 22

Rib Flare Program Malmö, Sweden 🇸🇪

  • clear, cited, actually practical. heavy going in the anatomy chapters if you have no background, but id rather be given too much than too little

    Aisha M. Rib Flare 27

Rib Flare Brace Guide Dubai, UAE 🇦🇪

  • material's good and i have no issue with the science. my honest gripe is the early modules cover the same ground as the free blog posts, which id already read before buying. the later phases are where the real value sits. wouldve paid the same to skip straight to those

    Stefan Nagy Rib Flare 34

Rib Flare Course Budapest, Hungary 🇭🇺

  • 5 mo

Wore it 8 hrs a night for 5 months. the ridge is basically gone. im 16 so i got lucky on timing, but you still have to wear it every single night. beat the operation they were lining us up for

    Elias PC 16

Pectus Carinatum Brace Bergen, Norway 🇳🇴

  • The wear-schedule chapter is honestly the whole product. everywhere else online just goes "wear a brace" and leaves you to figure out the rest

    hamza PC 20

Pectus Carinatum Course Casablanca, Morocco 🇲🇦

  • 6 mo

spent two years hiding the ridge under hoodies before i actually did anything about it. what changed it was the carinatum program - building the chest and back around the ridge instead of just bracing and hoping. six months in and it reads flat enough that the hoodies are gone

    Rafael PC 22

PC Exercise Program Cebu, Philippines 🇵🇭

  • 4 mo

He replied to my messages same day, every time. at 17 with a chest you hate, that matters way more than the plan does honestly

    Théo PC 17

    1-on-1 Coaching Ghent, Belgium 🇧🇪

  • solid guide and the pressure numbers are genuinely useful. half a star off cus im 28 and the whole thing is pitched at teenagers. an adult section, where the timelines are honestly different, wouldve been worth a lot to me

    Jonas B. PC 28

Carinatum Brace Guide Aarhus, Denmark 🇩🇰

  • logged case +3.2 kg · 2 months

Two months in and I've put on 3.2 kg of muscle. My chest doesn't cave the way it used to when I'm standing relaxed, and that alone was worth it.

    Milo PE 25

    Germany 🇩🇪

  • logged case −0.9 cm · 9 months

Nine months, 5.7 kg of muscle on, and 0.9 cm off the depth of my chest. I am 32. I had been told the window for fixing this closed at 18.

Liam PE + Rib Flare 32

    Seattle, WA 🇺🇸

  • logged case +4.5 kg · 6 months

I came in skinny with a deep dip and ribs that flared out. Six months later I am 4.5 kg heavier, and the flare is the part people notice is gone.

Ian PE + Rib Flare 22

    Canada 🇨🇦

  • logged case −0.9 cm · 7 months

The brace handled the flare, the training filled out the chest. 6 kg on and 0.9 cm less depth in seven months. I wear fitted shirts now.

Alejandro Sanz Torres PE + Rib Flare 29

    Bilbao, Spain 🇪🇸

  • logged case +4 kg · 5 months

Five months, 4 kg up. The dip is still there if I go looking for it, but nobody else finds it anymore.

Lars PE + Rib Flare 25

    Sweden 🇸🇪

  • logged case −9 kg · 5 months

I am 52 and carried both a ridge and a dip my whole life. Dropped 9 kg in five months and my chest finally reads as one shape instead of two.

Greg Henderson PC + PE 52

    Ohio, USA 🇺🇸

  • logged case +5 kg · 3 months

Three months, 5 kg on, and the ridge sits lower than it ever has. At 19 I thought surgery was the only thing that would fix it.

    Ethan PC 19

    North Carolina, USA 🇺🇸

  • logged case +9 kg · 6 months

Nine kilos in six months. Building the muscle around the ridge did more for how it looks than the years I spent hiding it under loose shirts.

    Omar Al Mansoori PC 24

    Abu Dhabi, UAE 🇦🇪

  • logged case 4 months

Four months of coaching and the ridge you could see from the side has flattened out. I stopped checking my profile in every window I walk past.

    Beau PC 30

    Missouri, USA 🇺🇸

My carinatum was the first thing I saw in every photo of myself. Now I have to point it out to people. Same chest, trained differently.

What people ask
before they begin.

The four that come up most, answered the same way I would answer them on a call.

Take the 60-second quiz
How long before I see a change? +

Posture and breathing shift first - most people feel that inside the first few weeks. Visible chest change is slower. In the case log above, Milo saw his first real change at 2 months, Ian at 6, Liam at 9. The programs run 16 weeks because that is roughly how long it takes for the training to show up in the mirror.

Am I too old for this to work? +

Almost certainly not. The clients documented on this page were 22 to 32 when they started. Cartilage does stiffen with age, so progress is slower the older you are - but slower is not the same as stopped. What changes is the timeline, not whether it is worth doing.

Do I need a gym, or can I do this at home? +

Either works. Every program ships with a gym track and a no-equipment track for the same 16 weeks, so you pick the one that matches what you actually have access to. You can switch between them mid-program without losing your place.

Pectus excavatum, carinatum, rib flare - is it the same plan? +

No, and that matters. A sunken chest and a protruding chest need close to opposite work, and rib flare often rides along with both. There is a separate program for each. If you are not sure which one you have, the 60-second quiz sorts it out and points you at the right starting place.

Questions

Straight answers.

Do I need equipment to use it?
No. The app runs your program, scans, and Correction Index with or without gear. If you own a vacuum bell or a brace, it also tracks your dosing against a daily target. If you do not, it simply leaves that part out.
Which conditions does it cover?
Pectus excavatum, pectus carinatum, and rib flare - including combinations, which are common. You set your case at onboarding, and the program is built for it. Combos run two devices and a blended index.
Does it replace a doctor?
No. It is a tracking and coaching tool, not a diagnosis or medical advice. Keep your clinician in the loop, especially with severe cases - the app will tell you when something warrants one.
Does it promise I will fix my chest?
No, and it never will. It measures your work and adapts the plan to it. It cannot guarantee an outcome, and nothing here moves without you doing the daily reps. That is the honest version.
What do I need to run it?
Any modern phone or computer with a browser. Scans use your device camera. There is nothing to install - it opens in the browser and works on the phone or the desktop.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Both, and on Mac and Windows too. It runs in the browser rather than as a store app, so there is nothing to download and no update to chase. Add it to your home screen and it opens like any other app.
Is this the same as your courses and guides?
No. The courses and guides teach you the method once. The app runs it day to day - it holds the dose, the session, the scans and the numbers, and changes the plan when your logs say it should. People often own both, and neither one needs the other.
Where does my data live?
On your device. The app is a private member area, kept out of search engines. Your logs and scans are yours.
Can I cancel?
Anytime. Monthly is month-to-month. Annual locks your rate for life but is never a contract - cancel whenever you like and you keep access through the period you paid for.
What does it cost?
$19 per month, or $182 per year - which works out to $15.17 a month, 20% off, with the rate locked for life. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. No charge today.
