Flatten the ridge.
No surgery.
Carinatum responds to one thing: steady compression on the ridge. This brace delivers it, adjustable, comfortable, worn under your clothes.
Why a protruding chest responds so well to compression, and how to brace it right.
Carinatum is the most correctable pectus type non-surgically. Watch why pressure works.
The ridge that sticks
out through everything.
Six questions. If you're nodding at most of them, you're on the right page.
Carinatum is the most fixable pectus there is.
Steady compression on flexible cartilage remodels it, Wolff's Law, and dynamic bracing corrects the vast majority of compliant, flexible cases. You almost certainly do not need surgery.
Meet the
carinatum brace.
Adjustable silicone pads on a slim frame that sit over the apex of your ridge and press it back toward flat, invisibly, under your clothes. Drag it to inspect the exact brace that ships to you.
Steady compression.
A ridge that settles flat.
Carinatum cartilage is usually flexible, which is why sustained, directed compression is the recognised first-line treatment worldwide. This brace supplies exactly that, measured to your chest.
Pads land on the
apex of the ridge
Built from your measurements, the brace places adjustable silicone pads directly over the high point of your protrusion, centred or off-centre, wherever yours actually is. Every unit of pressure works on the exact cartilage that needs to move, which is where off-the-shelf braces miss.
Comfortable, constant load,
hour after hour
Pain is not progress: effective compression is firm, steady and wearable, because the hours are what correct. The dial lets you find that range and raise it click by click as your chest responds, and the brace stays slim enough to disappear under a T-shirt at school or work.
The ridge remodels back
toward the chest wall
Under sustained load, flexible cartilage remodels (Wolff's Law) and the protrusion gradually settles flat, then a tapered maintenance phase keeps it there while the correction consolidates. Done properly, the ridge that comes down stays down.
Flexible chests respond in weeks to months. The hours decide it.
Compliant patients show 33–44% reduction in sternal rotation, full citations in the evidence section below.
How to wear it.
Four steps. A minute to put on once you know it, and the routine is yours for good.
Run a finger down the centre of your chest and find the highest point of the protrusion.
That point, not the middle of your chest, is where the pressure has to land.
It is often slightly off-centre. That is normal, and it is exactly what your brace was built around.
Position the front pads directly over that high point, then close the brace around your chest.
The back panel should sit flat between your shoulder blades, drawing your shoulders open.
Nothing should pinch. If an edge digs in, reposition before you add any pressure.
Turn the adjuster until you feel steady, even pressure across the ridge.
Firm and comfortable is the target. Sharp or sore means back it off.
Pain does not speed correction up. It only costs you the wear hours that actually produce it.
Break in over the first week, then build toward 14–23 hours a day. It is slim enough to sleep in.
As the ridge settles, click the dial up. The correction progresses with you.
Wear it to school, work and the gym. Under a T-shirt, nobody knows it is there.
But does it
really work?
Fair question. The answer starts 280 years ago, and the very first chest ever braced this way was a carinatum chest, exactly like yours.
The Father of Orthopedics
writes it down
Let’s go back to 1741. Nicolas Andry (the “Father of Orthopedics”) wrote a book called L’orthopédie ou l’art de prévenir et de corriger dans les enfants, les difformités du corps.
It proved something revolutionary:
“Bones and cartilage are living substances that reshape under consistent pressure.”
Nicolas Andry, 1741
A crooked tree,
straightened by support
This symbolic crooked tree became the symbol of Orthopedics. It was first proposed by Nicolas Andry in his book.
His emblem illustrated a tree that, like a growing child with a deformity, could be straightened through proper support.
That is the whole idea behind a carinatum brace, 280 years early.
Wolff’s Law:
bone obeys force
Over 150 years later in 1892, German surgeon Julius Wolff expanded on Andry’s observations and published The Law of Bone Remodelling.
His conclusion became known as Wolff’s Law, which is accepted as a law in Orthopaedics:
“Bone tissue is a dynamic structure that can be remodeled according to external forces.”
Wolff’s Law, 1892
The method was invented
for your chest.
Dynamic Remodeling
starts with carinatum
In 1977, Brazilian orthopedist Dr. Sydney Haje developed the Dynamic Remodeling Method and went on to treat nearly 5,000 patients during his career.
He started with a pectus carinatum patient.
He created a custom brace that applied pressure directly to the protruding chest, and it worked. Everything that followed, including the rib flare and excavatum bracing that came a decade later, was adapted from that first carinatum case.
Carinatum is not the afterthought of pectus bracing. It is the original.
32 years,
4,012 patients
This isn’t theory. It’s a law that is the foundation of modern orthopedics.
For 32 years (1977-2009), doctors studied 4,012 patients with chest deformities. What they discovered was remarkable.
Your chest can change shape.
Just as dental braces use consistent force to gradually reshape crooked teeth, a compression brace works the same way on a protruding chest.
Modern series:
76–92% corrected
Haje’s method became compression bracing as it is practised now, and the modern numbers hold up.
● Treatment success across modern bracing series: 76–92%
● Recurrence with proper maintenance: 2.6% across 1,185 patients
● Reduction in sternal rotation in compliant patients: 33–44%
The one variable that decides which group you land in is wear time. Above roughly 12 hours a day, the results follow.
Backed by the research,
not just my opinion.

What people ask
before they begin.
The four that come up most, answered the same way I would answer them on a call.
Take the 60-second quizHow long before I see a change? +
Posture and breathing shift first - most people feel that inside the first few weeks. Visible chest change is slower. In the case log above, Milo saw his first real change at 2 months, Ian at 6, Liam at 9. The programs run 16 weeks because that is roughly how long it takes for the training to show up in the mirror.
Am I too old for this to work? +
Almost certainly not. The clients documented on this page were 22 to 32 when they started. Cartilage does stiffen with age, so progress is slower the older you are - but slower is not the same as stopped. What changes is the timeline, not whether it is worth doing.
Do I need a gym, or can I do this at home? +
Either works. Every program ships with a gym track and a no-equipment track for the same 16 weeks, so you pick the one that matches what you actually have access to. You can switch between them mid-program without losing your place.
Pectus excavatum, carinatum, rib flare - is it the same plan? +
No, and that matters. A sunken chest and a protruding chest need close to opposite work, and rib flare often rides along with both. There is a separate program for each. If you are not sure which one you have, the 60-second quiz sorts it out and points you at the right starting place.
Five reasons it corrects,
and you can live in it.
The old carinatum braces are rigid, obvious and abandoned in a drawer within a week. This is built to be measured to you, adjustable, and slim enough to wear for the hours that actually move the ridge.
Custom 3D-fit compression
Silicone pads positioned over the exact apex of your protrusion, shaped and placed for your chest, so the pressure lands where the ridge actually is.
Dial-adjustable pressure
A simple adjuster lets you set a firm-but-comfortable pressure and increase it as your chest responds. The correction progresses with you.
Built to last and to train in
Durable enough to wear at the gym under your clothes. Pairing compression with exercise and breathing work is what makes results stick.
Safe, comfortable medical silicone
FDA-certified, medical-grade silicone pads, firm where it counts, gentle on your skin across the long daily hours bracing requires.
Integrated posture panel
A back panel keeps your shoulders drawn back so you stop hunching to hide the ridge, correcting the protrusion and the posture together.
No bars. No scars.
No reason to cut.
Same lift. None of what surgery adds on top.
I'm not writing this as a doctor looking at a scan. I had the sunken chest, the flared ribs, the shirt that stayed on at the pool, and nobody could tell me what actually works.
Everything on this page exists because I needed it to exist ten years ago.
I had it. I fixed it.
Now I help you do the same.
I'm Mihail Veleski. Pale, skinny, sunken chest, flared ribs, I had it all, and it wrecked my confidence. Years of consistent, non-surgical training made my deformity unnoticeable.
I founded Mr. Pectus to give people the exact path I had to find the hard way, tested on my own body first, then refined every time someone hit a wall I had not planned for.

Fitted to your chest,
and your real life.
A brace that fits and disappears under a shirt is a brace you'll wear 14–23 hours a day. You send me your measurements, I set it up around the apex of your ridge, and the dial lets you progress.
It's slim by design, wearable to school, work, the gym or in public without anyone noticing. If you're unsure about your measurements or how flexible your chest is, message me before you fit it and I'll help you set it correctly.
Let's be honest about
who this is for.
A brace applies the pressure; your consistency does the correcting. If a doctor has flagged a rigid or complex case, get it reviewed first.
No surprises between
you and starting.
No consultations to book, no waiting list, no size chart to gamble on.
The brace, the dial,
and direct support.
Every brace is fit to your measurements and ships worldwide with tracking, with the breathing tools and direct lifetime support included. No upsells at checkout.
Try the whole thing for 30 days. Use it, and if it isn't what was described, message me for a full refund, no questions asked. The risk stays with me, not you.
Common questions.
Is carinatum really correctable without surgery? +
Yes, more so than any other pectus type. Carinatum cartilage is usually flexible, and steady compression is the recognised first-line, non-surgical treatment. Dynamic compression bracing corrects the protrusion in the large majority of compliant patients with flexible chests. Surgery is genuinely a last resort for carinatum, not a starting point.
How long until I see results? +
Flexible chests can show visible flattening within weeks to a few months of consistent wear. The firmer or more set the cartilage, the longer it takes. Daily wear time and pressure are the biggest factors, the dial lets you progress as your chest responds.
How many hours a day do I wear it? +
Early on, aim for 14–23 hours a day depending on how your chest responds and how comfortable the pressure is. It’s slim enough to wear under clothes and to sleep in, so most hours pass without thinking about it. As the ridge settles, wear can taper to maintenance.
Does it hurt? +
It shouldn't. You want firm, steady pressure on the ridge, present but comfortable, not painful. If it's sharp or sore, the pressure is set too high; ease the dial back. Some skin redness over the pads is normal; pain is the signal to reduce.
Can I work out in it? +
Yes, and you should. Wearing it while you train, plus the paired breathing work, is what helps the correction hold. You can wear it at the gym under your clothes comfortably.
Does it work for adults? +
It can. Younger, more flexible chests respond fastest, but adults with workable cartilage correct carinatum with consistent compression too, it simply takes longer. Message me about your chest and I’ll give you an honest read.
Why custom-built instead of an off-the-shelf compression brace? +
Because carinatum correction is about where the pressure lands. A brace built to your measurements puts the pad exactly on your ridge (centred or off-centre, wherever yours actually is) at even, adjustable pressure. Off-the-shelf braces assume a standard chest; the ridge is precisely where chests stop being standard.
Is it visible under a shirt? +
It's designed to sit flat under normal clothing. A regular T-shirt covers it in day-to-day life; nobody at school or work needs to know it's there.
How tight should it be? +
Firm, steady, comfortable, never painful. Pain doesn't speed correction; it kills the wear hours that actually produce it. The dial lets you find the right pressure and progress it gradually as the ridge responds, and the included guidance shows you how.
Will the ridge come back when I stop? +
Remodelled cartilage holds, but the exit should be gradual, not a hard stop at the first good mirror-day. You taper to maintenance hours while monitoring, and pairing the brace with training helps the corrected shape hold on its own.
Do I get a wear schedule with it? +
Yes, break-in, daily-hours build-up and pressure progression guidance ship with the brace, plus lifetime support: message me any time mid-protocol. For the full evidence-based method, the Carinatum Bracing Guide pairs with it.
Does it ship to my country? +
Worldwide, tracked. It ships 5–7 days after your measurements are confirmed, and you get the tracking number as soon as it leaves.
What happens after I order? +
You send your measurements, the guided process takes about five minutes, then your brace is built to them and ships in 5–7 days with tracking. If a measurement looks off, I contact you personally before building.
What if it doesn’t work for me? +
You’re covered by a 30-day, no-questions-asked, 100% money-back guarantee, plus free lifetime support. If you don’t feel you’ve received great value, message me within 30 days and I’ll refund you in full.
