Sound Familiar?

Can you relate
to any of these?

Every month on the wrong approach is a month of results you don't get back. You deserve a protocol built for your specific condition - not adapted from generic advice that wasn't designed for your anatomy.

Do you want a brace therapy protocol that actually produces measurable protrusion reduction - not just "wear it as much as possible"?
Do you want to know exactly what pressure setting, what wear schedule, and what exercise pairings give your brace the best chance of working?
Do you want to stop guessing whether the discomfort is normal break-in or a sign something is wrong?
Then you need what this course covers - and nothing here is theory.

The brace is uncomfortable and you're not sure if it's fitted right
Pain at the contact points, skin issues after a few hours - you're not sure if this is normal break-in or a sign that something is wrong with the fit.
You're wearing it inconsistently and feel guilty about it
The compliance requirements feel overwhelming. 20 hours a day, every day - and every break feels like lost progress. The guilt is making it harder, not easier.
No idea if it's actually working
You've been wearing it for months. Your photos look roughly the same. You don't have a measurement protocol and don't know if the pressure is at the right level.
The exercises you're doing feel disconnected from the brace
Generic chest exercises, generic core work - none of it designed around the compression you're under. Some exercises may actually be counteracting your brace.
No one told you about the posture side
Carinatum creates a specific postural pattern - forward shoulders, tight anterior chest, hyperlordotic thoracic curve. Ignoring the postural chain limits how far the brace can take you.
You're doing this without anyone who's actually been through it
Your orthotist knows braces. Your physio knows general rehab. Neither has lived this. The protocol in this course was built by someone who wore a brace through their own correction.

If any of these sound familiar - you're not doing it wrong. You just haven't had a complete protocol. Every one of these problems has a specific, actionable fix. That's what this course covers. And it's backed by 10+ years of real-world outcomes - not theory.

Pectus carinatum brace
The Problem with Generic Advice

Brace therapy works.
When the protocol
is correct.

The research on carinatum brace therapy is solid - consistent compression of pliable costal cartilage produces structural change. The biology is not the problem.

The problem is that most people are given a brace, told to "wear it as much as possible," and left to figure out everything else. Pressure calibration, wear schedule, skin management, exercise pairings - the variables that determine whether brace therapy corrects or just compresses.

This course fills that gap. Every module is designed around one purpose: making your brace therapy produce the result it's capable of producing.

The Science

Cartilage responds
to load. This is
established science.

Pectus carinatum develops when costal cartilage grows faster than the ribcage can accommodate, pushing the sternum outward. That same cartilage - pliable in adolescence and early adulthood - responds to sustained compression.

The challenge isn't the mechanism - it's the protocol. Compliance studies consistently show that outcomes correlate with wear hours, pressure calibration, and the supporting rehabilitation work. That's exactly what this course systematises.

Study Reference
Brar et al. (2014), Kim et al. (2016), and Cohee et al. (2014) all demonstrate measurable protrusion reduction with compliant dynamic compression brace therapy in adolescent and young adult cohorts.
On surgery
Surgical options exist for carinatum - primarily cartilage resection or the Ravitch procedure. They produce results. They also mean general anaesthesia, recovery time, and cost. If surgery is genuinely the right answer for your case, that's a valid path. But brace therapy - when done with the right protocol - corrects carinatum without any of that. That's the case this course makes.
Cartilage Plasticity
Costal cartilage responds to sustained, directed compression. The biological mechanism is the same as orthodontic bracing - the brace works, but only if the protocol is right.
6–18 mo
Median active correction timeline in compliant adolescent and young adult cases. The protocol in this course is designed around maximising compliance within that window.
8–20 hrs/day
The compliance window most studies cite for effective correction. Not "all day every day" - a structured schedule that gets hours in consistently without causing the skin problems that derail compliance.

Includes
Self-paced access
Protocol tables & templates
Measurement guides
Exercise diagrams
Lifetime access
Module 01
PC Anatomy & Severity Self-Assessment
How the cartilaginous overgrowth behind PC develops, the three types (symmetric, asymmetric, mixed), and how to self-classify and measure your protrusion accurately. The baseline that makes everything else make sense.
Module 02
Brace Fitting, Pressure Zones & Compliance Strategy
The fitting principles that determine whether brace therapy corrects or just compresses. Padding placement, pressure zone targeting, and the tightening progression that produces structural change without causing skin damage.
Module 03
Wear Schedule Architecture
Not just "wear it as long as possible" - the structured daily schedule, build-up protocol for new wearers, and the maintenance phase strategy that locks in correction gains after active correction is complete.
Module 04
Compression-Aware Breathing & Rib Expansion
Breathing sequences engineered to work alongside brace compression. Diaphragm work, lateral rib expansion, and intercostal mobility - the breathing mechanics that compound correction rather than fight against it.
Module 05
Thoracic Mobility & Postural Correction
The thoracic spine stiffness and anterior chest tightness that PC creates, addressed systematically. Upper back mobility, pec minor release, and the postural rebalancing work that allows the brace to do its job more effectively.
Module 06
Brace-Compatible Exercise Programming
Which exercises compound brace correction, which counteract it, and the exact sequences that build the supporting musculature without generating pressure patterns that fight the brace.
Module 07
Skin Care, Comfort Protocols & Problem Solving
The skin conditioning progression, padding adjustment protocol, and the troubleshooting system for the most common brace compliance problems - pressure sores, rib discomfort, shoulder impingement.
Module 08
Measurement, Photo Documentation & Milestone Checkpoints
How to measure protrusion accurately with calipers and photo documentation, and the specific milestone checkpoints at weeks 4, 8, 16, and 24 that tell you whether your brace pressure is calibrated correctly.
Module 09
Retention Phase & Long-Term Maintenance
What happens after active correction - the retention protocol that maintains structural changes, when to begin reducing wear hours, and how to test whether the correction is holding.

Who Built This

Built by someone
who lived this
from both sides.

I'm Mihail Veleski. I've had pectus myself, and for the past decade I've worked with over a thousand people navigating pectus correction - carinatum, excavatum, and rib flare.

The protocol in this course isn't a compilation of clinical notes. It's what I've seen produce consistent, measurable correction in real people - built from the patterns that work and the failures that taught me what doesn't.

What You Walk Away With

Three things no
brace appointment
will give you.

Outcome 01
Measurable protrusion reduction.
Not just "it looks better" - calibrated measurements at defined milestones that tell you exactly how much structural change has occurred and whether your protocol needs adjusting.
Outcome 02
A brace protocol you can actually sustain.
Compliance is the entire game with carinatum brace therapy. This course is built around making compliance achievable - wear schedules, skin care, exercise pairings, and the troubleshooting system that keeps you on track.
Outcome 03
Built by someone who used one.
Not a generic guide adapted from orthotist notes. Every protocol - the pressure progression, the exercise pairings, the skin care routine - comes from lived experience running the same process.
This Is Right For You If…

This course is the right fit.

You have or are getting a pectus carinatum brace
You're not seeing the progress you expected from brace wear alone
You want a structured protocol, not scattered advice
You're willing to commit consistent daily wear hours
You want to understand the mechanism, not just follow instructions blindly
You're an adolescent or young adult (or a parent supporting one)
This Isn't For You If…

Be honest with yourself.

You're not willing to commit consistent daily wear hours
You're looking for a shortcut that avoids the compliance requirement
Your cartilage is significantly calcified (typical in adults over 30)
You're expecting results in weeks rather than months

Questions

Frequently asked.

What age is this course suitable for? +
The course is designed for adolescents and young adults, which is the primary window for brace correction. That said, brace therapy has been shown to produce results in adults up to their mid-20s when cartilage is still reasonably pliable. The course addresses age-appropriate timeline expectations for each group.
Do I need a specific type of brace? +
The protocol applies to any anterior compression brace - custom orthotist-fitted or off-the-shelf. The fitting and pressure zone principles in Module 02 are device-agnostic. If you don't yet have a brace, the course covers how to evaluate your options.
How many hours a day do I actually need to wear it? +
The module covers this in detail, but the short answer is: consistent hours in the right pressure range beat maximum hours at the wrong setting. The wear schedule in the course is structured around 8–16 hours depending on correction phase - not the impractical "wear it as long as possible" advice you've probably already heard.
What if I've been wearing the brace for months with no visible change? +
Lack of visible change after months of brace wear usually comes down to pressure calibration (too little), wear schedule (too inconsistent), or posture compensation (the chest wall is moving but the postural pattern is masking it). Module 08 covers the measurement system that tells you exactly which of these is the issue.
Is the exercise component essential or optional? +
The brace does the structural correction. The exercise component makes the brace work better - breathing mechanics that compound compression, thoracic mobility that allows deeper pressure penetration, and posture work that prevents the compensatory patterns that limit how far the brace can take you. It's not essential but it significantly shortens the correction timeline.
How is this different from what my orthotist told me? +
Orthotists are device specialists - they fit the brace and set the initial pressure. They're generally not trained in the breathing mechanics, exercise programming, or postural correction that compound brace therapy. This course covers everything the fitting appointment doesn't.
Can I use this alongside seeing a physio? +
Yes - and it complements physio well. The course gives you the self-directed protocol; physio provides hands-on assessment that can catch things you can't feel yourself. If you're working with a physio, the measurement system in Module 08 gives them concrete data to work from.
What format is the course? +
Structured written content with protocol tables, measurement guides, and exercise diagrams - not video. Deliberately formatted so you can reference the wear schedule or exercise sequence in the middle of a session without scrubbing through footage.
What's your refund policy? +
30 days, no questions asked. Email me and I'll refund in full if you feel the course didn't deliver what was described.
How do I know if my case is too severe for brace therapy? +
Very severe cases - particularly in adults with significant cartilage calcification - may have limited response to brace compression. The severity self-assessment in Module 01 helps you understand where you are and whether brace therapy is your primary path or a supplementary one.
